Airport A Rez

This is a historic article about an airport which no longer exists or has been replaced.

Airport A Rez (ICAO: SL--) was an public airport geared towards those with small avatars ("tinies"), although was usable by all. The airport was located in the 'Vuissant' region of south-western Gaeta V.

Elevation advisory: Free-floating sky-port platform at approx 105m. Minimum recommended approach, 110m.

Background

A small sky-port floating on top of a cloud bank, it was a relatively simple airport with a single runway, two helipads, a terminal building, air traffic control tower, and a small hospital. Airport A Rez was located above the first 'tiny' yacht-club in Second Life. There was a shop for tinies and a clubhouse, Club Port A Rez.

At its height, there were no scheduled services operating to or from Airport A Rez, however charter flights may have been available on request.
