ZSK Digital Designs is a freelance content creation business in Second Life that was founded by ZoraSlade Karu in July, 2012. ZSK is mainly known for it's creation of WWII aircraft, such as the North American P-51D Mustang and Curtiss P-40E Kittyhawk, as well as compilation projects with other businesses, such as Astral Technologies.

Background

Originally known as LightDash Designs, a business that focused on making avatars and accessories, the company took on the name 'ZSK Digital Designs' based on the initials of owner ZoraSlade Karu. In 2012, ZSK partnered with fellow content-creator Astral Tek to develop the ZSK Flight Physics engine - part of a shared project to simulate realistic vehicle behavior which would be practical for end users to control and add an element of excitement. The engine was developed by combining A-T's base flight engine and ZSK's knowledge of aircraft behavior. Other systems were later refined with additional help from Laminar System's lift code. One of the distinct behaviors of the ZSK Flight core was the ability for an aircraft to enter a spin if stalled. This was first integrated into the P-51D Mustang which was released in August 27th, 2013. ZSK has recently aided the construction of Wright Brothers Regional Airfield (SLWB) in the 'Jadu' region of Jeogeot. The location of ZSK Digital Designs' main headquarters is at Archerfield Landing Strip, which is located in 'Spurness'.
