The Cessna 172 Skyhawk (ICAO: C172 / WAKE: LIGHT) is a four seat, single engine, high wing, fixed-wing aircraft. Created in Second Life by DSA Aeronautics, the aircraft was based on the real-life Cessna 172 Skyhawk, built in the United States of America by the Cessna Aircraft Company.

Background

The real-life Cessna 172 Skyhawk was first flown in 1955 and over the course of its existence more Cessna 172s have been built than any other aircraft.
