Landing Advisories

  • Short runway advisory.
  • Large wingspan aircraft advisory.
  • Elevation advisory: airfield surface is at 40m. Minimum recommended approach at 50m.

Created in January 2015, Delvalle Field was a small airfield equipped with a 90m x 10m single dirt runway designed primarily for light aircraft. To the south of the runway were seven mid-sized rental hangars, refuelling facilities and an administrative building with ATC tower, helipads and emergency services depot. To the west of the facility down a flight of stone steps was a large public beach and small docking area for seaplanes and boats. The facility ceased operating in May 2015.

At its height, there were no scheduled services operating to or from Delvalle Field, however charter flights may have been available on request.
