EasyJet's Flight School is located in Cheerport Airport. In order to become a licensed commercial airline pilot, cadet's will go through a 3 phase training. The first phase consists out of a theoretical phase (ATPL). Students learn how to follow aviation rules, instruments, navigation and internal EasyJet procedures. At the end of the theoretical class students will take an ATPL exam in which they must score 90% minimum to pass.

In the second phase, cadets will jump into the Cessna D-207 and put all their theory into practice. Pilots will perform several flights following the right procedures and check lists. Landing scores of 85% minimum are required to pass this phase.

In the third and last phase, cadets will fly both the Airbus A318 and the Boeing 737-200. They will follow correct procedures and check lists. The final exam exists out of a multiple route flight in which they will swap planes. The cadet must score a landing score of 87% minimum to pass and receive their ATPL and become an EasyJet First Officer.

Once they become an EasyJet First Officer, they will continue flying solo and with a Captain to further improve their skills. For certain airports a specific training is needed in order to be qualified to land at the Airport.

Senior First Officers are eligible to apply for the Captain training program. This is needed to reach the rank of Captain at EasyJet.
