The Lockheed Martin F-35B Lightning II (ICAO: VF35 / WAKE: MEDIUM) is a single-seat, single-engine, all weather stealth multirole fighter. Created in Second Life by Amok Dynamics, the aircraft was based on the real-life F-35 Lightning II built by an aerospace industry team led by Lockheed Martin.

The real-life F-35B is a short takeoff and vertical landing (STOVL) variant of the F-35 Lightning II series of multirole fighters. The Lightning II design applies stealth technology manufacturing techniques and, to minimise its radar signature, the airframe has identical sweep angles for the leading and trailing edges of the wings and tail, and incorporates sloping sides for the fuselage and the canopy.[1] Similar in size to the 'A' variant, the 'B' sacrifices about a third of the other version's fuel volume to accommodate a vertical flight system, enabling vertical takeoffs and landings. Also, unlike other variants, the F-35B has no landing hook.
