Sweetgrass Regal Airport (ICAO: SLRA) is a public single runway airport in the 'Regal' region of southern-central Satori. Sweetgrass is one of the longest surviving airports on the continent and the only consistent airport at its center.

Landing Advisories

  • Location advisory: Land-locked airport at surface level, exercise caution on approach.
  • Collision hazard advisory: Obstruction immediately south of landing runway (planetarium dome). Minimum recommended approach 135m.

Background

Sweetgrass-Regal Airport was built by Stryker Jenkins for the residents and friends of the Sweetgrass Community of central Satori. The facility has changed little during its years of operation and is equipped with a single 100m x 15m asphalt landing surface (marked and lit) and a helipad in its north-eastern corner. A single control tower stands on the east end of the airport with a Terra fuel pump. Alongside, a static airship stands docked ready to receive people to make use of its lounge and room facilities. Lack of space generally makes this airport unsuitable for large aircraft.
