AN-2 is the very first airplane of FoxAir. Due to that its painting and livery style is slightly different from standard which has been implemented later. This aircraft is mostly used for short-distance flights between the lesser airstrips (even those that weren't built for an aircraft of such size), sometimes maneuvering at their free spaces very close to the limits. To keep the flights speed as realistic as possible, a thrust level is intentionally kept at relatively low mode (65% at maximum).

FoxAir (ICAO: FOX / IATA: FA / Call-sign: FOXAIR) is a virtual amateur airline organization occasionally providing passenger services, predominantly regional ones.

Together with FoxRail and FoxLine (covering the rail and marine transportation respectively) constitutes a part of the Fox Transit Association (FOXTA).

Overview

FoxAir is created by Florin Fox as a virtual counterpart of theoretical concept of the same-named airline in real life that would be considered a national airline of Estuaria, Florin's cultural micronational project.

The airline is targeted predominantly on budget and low-cost kind of transportation and by the moment of creation is not intended to offer business nor VIP service.

Livery

The painting style of FoxAir's fleet is mostly standardized and is based on flag of Estuaria. Only two colours are used: the white and very dark blue. The fuselage can be painted rather with a combination of white (front part and wings) and blue (rear part, tail, engine sockets), or just solid blue (except for wings).

At the both front sides of aircraft an emblem of fox is being put whilst the "FOXAIR" and "ESTUARIAN AIRLINES" scriptures are positioned next to the door.

The tail's top always has a symbol of crescent and pentagram star (national symbol) and the bottom contains a name of micronation in 3 languages: Ta'agra at top (Astura), Estuarian at the left bottom side (Ẽstuariȷa) and English next to it.

Fleet

The airline is functioning with 3 vessels that were planned to be used for passenger service of various formats with the most common one of a regional short and medium ranged low-cost carrier.

All aircraft of FoxAir have an EA-XXX registration number format, where EA is a hypothetical unauthorized ISO-2 code of Estuaria.

Airbus A318 (EA-SVI)

The largest air vessel of company. Due to its size and complicated moving dynamics accompanied by high fuel consumption it can be put to work at a very limited amount of routes and is usually used at FA101/FA102 flights between Second Norway Lufthavn and Angels Airport.

Embraer E-120 (EA-LYH)

Despite not being the largest aircraft of company, E-120 is put into service most of the times and can even replace the A318 without warning at the routes where the larger airplane can be used.

Antonov AN-2 (EA-WJF)

AN-2 is the very first airplane of FoxAir. Due to that its painting and livery style is slightly different from standard which has been implemented later. This aircraft is mostly used for short-distance flights between the lesser airstrips (even those that weren't built for an aircraft of such size), sometimes maneuvering at their free spaces very close to the limits. To keep the flights speed as realistic as possible, a thrust level is intentionally kept at relatively low mode (65% at maximum).

Destinations and schedule

The usual area of FoxAir's service lies predominantly within the Blake Sea region with Second Norway Lufthavn as a main destination airport.

Flight rules for passengers

After taking their seat and during the flight the passengers are requested to:

  • Keep off all the unnecessary scripts and attachments that are insufficient to avatar's appearance. This can be concerned of animation overrides, HUDs, prim hair, piercings or tails of anthropomorphic avatars (furries).
  • Keep the flight calm and constructive. Nearby chat spamming and usage of attachments for trolling or region crashing is forbidden. The arrogant and impermissible behavior onboard can be allowed/excused if it is brought for roleplay/humorous purposes only and doesn't impact on the flight process dramatically.
