Hinamizawa Airport (ICAO: SLNZ) is a small public airstrip and skyport located in the 'Neumoegen' region of southern Heterocera Atoll.

Landing Advisories

  • Landing advisory: Landlocked airport with no protected approach/departure, and Health enabled on the southern runway. Use caution while landing.
  • Elevation advisory: Skymall and skyport are located on a free-floating platform at 750m elevation. Minimum recommended approach: 760m.

Originally a simple dual runway airport set alongside the ruins of a battleship (retrofitted for habitation), the facility was reduced to a single east/west runway airstrip between April-December 2014. As a result, the airport's content in the adjoining region of 'Oculea' (a small museum showing the battleship in its heyday and a second runway) were removed.

Around this time, a small skyport was constructed 750m above in order to act as a showroom for the owner's aircraft. The skyport is equipped with a 255m x 15m lit runway, hangar with roof terrace, vendors and display aircraft.

While light on features, the airstrip has excellent transportation links; set as it is alongside Heterocera Atoll's Second Life Rail Road (SLRR) and providing a train station with public rez enabled. Complementary bicycle rental is also available.

Currently, there are no scheduled services operating to or from Hinamizawa Airport, however charter flights may be available on request. Please contact airlines for more information.
