The Terra Orca was an original two-seater amphibious VTOL aircraft manufactured by Terra Aeronautics. As its name suggests, the design was inspired by the shape of a killer whale.
Background
After completing work on the original Tigershark, Terra Aeronautics started development on a "flying sub ... inspired by the shape of a whale". This resulted in a prototype named “Beluga”, which was quickly abandoned due to its off-putting appearance. The project continued however and was eventually refined into the Terra Orca.
