Warnings:[]
Avoid the southern sim borders on approach (double crossings)! See landing advisory in the gallery...
Military Planes are allowed any time, as long as not painted with unconstitutional symbols forbidden by German Law - especially swastika and military emblems of units that committed genocide. Violators will be banned and also reported to the Lindens.
Facilities:[]
Road Access to Route 9 of Jeogeot Network
Landmaster™ Rating System installed:
- 1 board with an "aging" of 28 days - keeps up the "kick" of competing
Fuel facilities: DSA, Dani, TBM, Shergood
GTFO! Hub for air vehicles!
- Medium Planes
- Large Helicopters
GTFO! Hub for road vehicles! (from Oct. 19th 2020)
Appropriate planes (for the runway) are e.g.
- Dani D-300, D-100, D-120, D-121, D-207, D-690
- DSA Starship, King Air, Electra
- Java Designs Avanti, Duke
- all smaller airplanes like STOL, Piper, fighter planes
Still, of course a D-318 oder D-737 may touch down here (due to phantom wings), but the impression is not realistic! In general, this airfield still is made for "medium planes". If you look at the list by GTFO! (and filter "plane" and "large") you get 7 entries. And I am afraid we can not serve these types.

Additional info and Trivia:[]
SLTF is Homebase to THUNDERFLIGHT Air Carrier
Since 2019 Jeogeot is connected to Sansara via the new continent Bellisseria. Long distance flights are possible!
Thunderflight Jeogeot has been the southernmost Civil Airport in Second Life, since Koni Airport closed in September 2020. With Spurness region airport being sold to Avin Zepp for the moment this role is paused (Sept. 2021).
In June 2020, ending 18th of June, 1pm SLT, a 2 week lasting LandMaster Contest took place on SLTF. Only 5 types of the 2nd generation of Dani Planes were allowed, to avoid cheating and to have a maximum of result comparability. The winner was NicolasPike Resident, who (together with Yorkie Bardeen) managed to make a score of 99.94. A "play-off" lead to the final result, which put NicolasPike Resident on rank#1, Yorkie Bardeen on rank#2 and Gem Rayna on rank#3. The winner received a plane of his choice from the Dani collection, the both other finalists money. See picture of the Landmaster Board, taken on June 18th, 2020, 1pm SLT (Gallery).
In October, with the help of my neighbor Kitajayez Resident, I managed to get road access to Route 9. This makes it possible to run the airport as an air/road hub for GTFO!
